Residents of Eastern Idaho have access to a first class healthcare system. The cities of Pocatello, Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, and Rexburg have full-service hospitals. The area is also served by numerous freestanding clinics, same day surgery centers and home health services.

Virtually every medical specialty is represented inside the region, with many practitioners being national leaders in their fields.

Emergency services include conventional and search-and-rescue ambulances reaching all corners of the region, and two Air Intensive Care Units supported by both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.
